Bishopstown Credit Union (BCU) pioneered the use of real time banking technology in Ireland. In conjunction with SIT and their Portfolio Plus application suite, BCU now offers customers a banking experience that works in real time, meaning that when a transaction occurs, it appears on your bank account immediately. Neon Solutions has worked with the Portfolio Plus developers to integrate SMS communications into the banking applications, which allow customers to get transaction and balance notification information sent directly to their mobile handsets as they happen. This new SMS technology feature empowers their customers to stay up to date with their account information and gives them the ability to spot any fraudulent activity as it happens.
